Researches of an Adventure Therapy - study overview

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá terapií dobrodružstvím, která je využívána jako součást léčby aplikované v dobrodružných táborech, venkovních behaviorálních zdravotnických centrech (OBH), rezidenčních léčebných centrech (RTC) a také terapeutických komunitách. Cílem teoretické části je objasnit pojmy terapie dobrodružstvím a zážitková pedagogika. Dále popsat historii terapie dobrodružstvím, její terapeutické přínosy a zaměření výzkumů v této oblasti. Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaké kvantitativní výzkumy byly publikované v letech 2000 až 2017 v databázi Ebsco a na základě jejich analýzy určit, jak byly realizované a jaké mají programy terapie dobrodružstvím výsledky účinků na klienty, kteří je absolvovali. K analýze výzkumů byl zvolen mapující přehled. Součástí empirické části je analýza jednotlivých výzkumných studií, jejich třídění a následné shlukování do přehledové tabulky. Všechna zjištění a výsledky jednotlivých studií jsou prezentovány v závěrečném shrnutí a závěru této práce.

Abstract:

Subject of this Diploma Thesis is the Therapy of Adventure, which is used as a therapeutical method in the adventure camps, Outdoor Behavioural Healtcare centers (OBH), Residental Treatment Centers (RTC) and other therapeutical communities. The goal of the theoretical part is to clarify the terms Adventure therapy and Experience teaching. It also aims to describe the history of adventure therapy, its therapeutical benefits and focus of research in this area. The goal of the practical part is to determine which quantitave research studies have been published between 2000 and 2017 in the Ebsco database and using their analytical criteria to determine how were they realized. It also aims to analyze the individual adventure therapy programs and the impact they had on participants. Mapping overview is used to analyze these studies. Empirical part focuses on analyzing and sorting the individual studies and clustering them in the overview chart. All the findings and coclusions from individual studies are presented in the closing summary and conclusion of the thesis.
