Demographic development of the town Loket in the 19th century

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje demografickému vývoji v Lokti v 19. století. Cílem práce je zachytit a popsat demografický vývoj města Loket v 19. století za pomoci digitalizovaných matrik, odborné literatury, periodik a internetových zdrojů. Výsledkem práce, k němuž došlo za použití anonymní excerpce dat, je přehledné znázornění vývoje obyvatelstva z hlediska porodnosti, úmrtnosti a sňatečnosti. Výsledky výzkumu jsou porovnávány se závěry v jiných lokalitách ve stejném století.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the demographic development in Loket in the 19th century. The aim of the thesis is to capture and describe the demographic development of the town of Loket in the 19th century using digitalized registers, specialized literature, periodicals, and Internet sources. The result of the thesis, which was carried out using anonymous data excerpts, is a clear represantion of the population development in terms of fertility, mortality, and marriage rate. The research results are compared with findings from other locations in the same century.
