Práce upozorňuje na různé praktiky v oblasti placentofágie, její výhody a nevýhody a také nutriční složení konzumované placenty. Dále se soustředí na poporodní rituály s placentou, s nimi spojenými riziky a problematikou lotosového porodu. The work draws attention to various practices in the field of placentophagy, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as the nutritional composition of the consumed placenta. It also focuses on postpartum rituals with the placenta, the risks associated with them, and the issue of lotus birth.
