Early Medieval Croatian State in the 10th and 11th Centuries
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá vznikem raněstředověkého chorvatského království. Zohledňuje roli panovníků v rámci budování státního zřízení nejen v odvětví církevního života, ale i na poli diplomatických styků se sousedními zeměmi. Zájmem práce je také uvést raný chorvatský stát do komparace s českým státem za vlády prvních přemyslovských knížat, a najít zde znaky podobné, či od sebe naprosto odlišné.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the forming of the early medieval Croatian kingdom. It takes into account the role of monarchs in the creation of the state establishment not only in the branch of church life, but also in the field of diplomatic relations with neighbouring countries.The interest of the work is also the comparison of the early Croatian state to the Czech one during the reign of the first Přemyslid …more
