Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnuji popisu metanolu a průběhu metanolové aféry, která měla za následek pět desítek mrtvých a mnoho dalších hospitalizovaných. Velice stručně se v práci zmiňuji o historii otrav metanolem a dosud známých faktech o metanolu, farmakologických vlastnostech metanolu. Abstract:
In my Bachelor's thesis I describe methanol and the course of events in the methanol scandal that resulted in fifty deaths and many other people had to be hospitalised. I mention very briefly the history of methanol poisoning and the facts and pharmacological properties of methanol that are known today.
