Occupational therapy interventions for patients with complex regional pain syndrome in the forearm and hand

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice komplexního regionálního bolestivého syndromu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. První kapitoly jsou věnovány anatomickým strukturám a kineziologii horní končetiny. V úvodu je také uvedena definice a rozdělení syndromu. Dále se zabývám historií, incidencí a prevalencí syndromu. Následuje popis patofyziologických aspektů, klinického obrazu, příznaků a definování klinických fází. V závěru teoretické části je popsána diagnostika a možnosti léčby syndromu. Praktická část je věnována kazuistikám a indikaci ergoterapeutické intervence v praxi a její následné zhodnocení v závěru práce.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with problematics of the complex regional pain sydrome. Thesis is separated into two parts: theoretical and practical. First chapters are dedicated to anatomic structures and kinesiology of the upper limb. In the introduction is comprehended the definiton and division of the syndrome. Additionaly it deals with the history, incidency and prevalency of the syndrome, followed by description of patophysiological aspect, clinical picture, symptoms and definition of the clinical phases. In the conclusion of the theoretical part the diagnostics and treatment options are described. The practical part is dedicated to casuistics and indication of occupational therapeutic intervention in practice followed by review by the end of the thesis.
