Alternative Care from the Parents' Point of View

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na střídavou péči jako jednu z variant porozvodového uspořádání péče o děti. V první části práce popisujeme, co je to rodina, jaké jsou její funkce, jaká je role matky a otce. Poté se zaměřujeme na rozvod, jeho příčiny, co znamená pojem syndrom zavrženého rodiče, jaký vliv má rozvod na dítě a také, jaké jsou typy porozvodové péče. Stěžejní kapitolou je střídavá péče, její legislativní rámec, podmínky pro přidělení dítěte do této formy výchovy, jaké jsou výhody či nevýhody a zkušenosti ze zahraničí. V praktické části se budeme zabývat realizováním kvalitativního výzkumu formou rozhovoru s rodiči, kteří střídavou péči vykonávají. Touto prací bychom chtěli čtenáře navést k myšlence, že střídavá péče je jednou z vhodných variant péče o dítě.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the joint custody as one of the varieties of post-divorce arrange-ments of children. The first part of the thesis describes what family is, what its functions are, what the role of mother and father is. Then I focus on divorce, especially on its causes, what the syndrome of a rejected parent means, what impacts the divorce on children have, what types of post-divorce care exist. The leading chapter elaborates the concept of joint custody, its legislative framework, the conditions for child's assignment to this form of custody, and deals with the question of what the advantages or disadvantages and experi-ence from abroad are. In the practical part I focus on realization of qualitative survey by interviewing parents, who have been practising the joint custody. Through the mediation of this thesis I would like to suggest the reader the joint custody as one of the suitable variants of child care.
