Abstract:
The present thesis deals with an analysis of a fictional text from the point of view of functional sentence perspective. The corpus of the text analysed is a part of Joseph Heller?s novel Catch-22 ? the original text in English and its two different trasnslations into Czech. Tato diplomová práce vychází z funkčně větné analýzy beletristického textu. Korpus určený k analýze byl sestaven z originálu a dvou různých českých překladů části románu Hlava XXII Josepha Hellera. První část práce předkládá teoretické poznatky z oblasti funkční větné perspektivy, osvětluje koncepci této teorie a představuje funkčně větné činitele.
