Verification of hardware model design using industrial engineering methods by discrete event simulation

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou ověření návrhu hardwarového modelu využívající metody průmyslového inženýrství pomocí diskrétní simulace. Teoretická část je věnována charakteristice pojmů Průmyslové inženýrství, jeho metod a problematice tvorby simulačních modelů. V praktické části jsou navrženy modely představující dílnu, z nich je jeden vybrán a vytvořen simulační model. Na tomto modelu jsou dále interpretovány navržené strategie řízení výroby a metody průmyslového inženýrství. Simulační model je vytvořen v softwarovém programu Plant Simulation.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the problem of verification of hardware model design using industrial engineering methods by means of discrete simulation. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of the concepts of Industrial Engineering, its methods and the problems of creating simulation models. In the practical part, models representing a workshop are proposed, one of them is selected and a simulation model is created. The proposed production control strategies and industrial engineering methods are further interpreted on this model. The simulation model is created in the software program Plant Simulation.
