Abstract:

Diplomová práce se soustředí na málo prozkoumanou investiční oblast stříbrných a zlatých mincí. Za tím účelem čerpá informace z dostupné české i zahraniční odborné literatury, která tuto problematiku zachycuje roztříštěným způsobem, a přináší nový ucelený pohled na ni. Přitom práce vymezuje základní terminologii a základní metodologické členění, provádí analýzu s doporučeními pro investory v oblasti praktických otázek spojených s investicemi do mincí, rovněž jako analýzu základních výnosových a rizikových charakteristik vzácných i investičních mincí, kterou taktéž spojuje s příslušnými investičními doporučeními. V závěru diplomové práce je na základě dostupných dat o balíku numizmatických mincí s velmi vysokým premiem provedena základní empirická analýza k rámcovému ověření klíčových teoretických závěrů o výnosnosti a rizikovosti dotčeného druhu investic.

Abstract:

The master’s thesis focuses on the little explored investment sector of silver and gold coins. Following such aim, it gains information from both Czech and foreign expert literature, which addresses the matter in question in a fragmental way, and brings a new complex view thereon. Whilst doing so, the thesis specifies fundamental terminology and fundamental methodological classification, performs an analysis with recommendations for investors in the area of practical issues connected with investments in coins as well as an analysis of fundamental yield and risk attributes of both rare and investment coins which is also connected with relevant investment recommendations. In the end of the master’s thesis, there is a basic empirical analysis performed, which takes grounds on available data related to a package of rare coins with very high premium, with the purpose of framework validation of the key theoretical conclusions regarding the lucrativeness and riskiness of the kind of investments at hand.
