The influence of solar radiation and temperature conditions on the properties of selected composite elements of transport technology and their consideration in design

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá procesy degradace polymerního materiálu krycího skla světlometu osobního automobilu. Byla provedena měření změn povrchových mechanických vlastností vzorků z nového světlometu před a po aplikaci degradačních procesů teplotních a vyvolaných slunečním zářením. Vzorky byly vystaveny řízenému degradačnímu procesu teplotnímu v teplotní komoře a radiačnímu ve sluneční komoře simulovaných na základě provozních podmínek. Na základě výsledků měření byl proveden návrh ke zvýšení životnosti skel světlometů.

Abstract:

This work deals with processes of degradation of the polymer material of the cover glass of the car headlamp. Measurements of the surface mechanical properties of the samples from the new headlamp were measured before and after the application of temperature degradation and solar radiation degradation processes. The samples were subjected to a controlled degradation process in the temperature chamber and the radiation in the solar chamber simulated on the basis of operating conditions. Based on the measurement results, a proposal was made to increase the lifetime of the headlamp glasses.
