Experience of Parents Raising a Mentally Disabled Child with the 4th Degree of Depence

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá tématem výchovy rodičů nezletilého dítěte s mentálním postižením. Na základě písemných výpovědí zjišťuje, jakou zkušenost mají rodiče s výchovou nezletilého dítěte ve IV. stupni zavilosti s mentálním postižením. V rámci teoretické části se práce zaměřuje na charakteristiku mentálního postižení, výskyt a příčiny vzniku i samotnou klasifikaci daného postižení. Podrobněji je věnována pozornost výchově dětí s mentálním postižením v rodině i rodičům vychovávajícím děti s postižením. Vymezuje specifika vzdělávání dětí s mentálním postižením ve školských i sociálních zařízeních, včetně popisu zařízení v oblasti prováděného výzkumu. Definuje příspěvek na péči, jeho výši u nezletilých dětí a výplatu. V praktické části je podrobněji popsána metodika práce, výzkumný cíl, výzkumné otázky a stěžejní metoda výzkumu. Pro výzkumnou část byl zvolen kvalitativní design výzkumu s použitím metody konstituce významů MCA.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the topic of parenting of a minor child with mental disability. Based on written statements, the thesis determines the parents experience with an upbringing of a minor child in IV. dependence level of mental disability. Within the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the mental disability characteristics, its occurrence and causes of origin and its classification. More attention is paid to the raising of children with mental disabilities in a family and to the parents of handicapped children. It defines the specifics of these children's education in educational and social facilities, including its description in a field of this research. It characterizes care allowance, its amount for minors, and payment. In the practical part, the research methodology, goal and questions are described. For the research part, a qualitative research design was chosen, using meaning constitution analysis.
