Prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in intensive care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na zdravotnické záchranáře, pracující v nemocnicích na odděleních urgentní péče JIP a ARO a na jejich vědomosti o prevenci ventilátorové pneumonie u pacientů na odděleních JIP a ARO. Práce se dělí na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část práce obsahuje informace o patofyziologii nozokomiálních pneumonií, informace o VAP a o její prevenci. Ve výzkumné části byly stanoveny výzkumné předpoklady, na které zjistíme odpovědi pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu formou dotazníků. Cílem práce je vytvoření metodického manuálu určeného pro studenty nelékařských zdravotnických oborů.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is focused on paramedics working in hospitals in the ICU and ARO emergency care departments and on their knowledge about the prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients in the ICU and ARO departments. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis contains information on the pathophysiology of nosocomial pneumonia, and information on VAP and its prevention. In the research part, research assumptions were established, the answers will be obtained using quantitative research in the form of questionnaires. The aim of the work is to create a methodological manual intended for students of non-physician medical fields.
