The influence of an alcoholic father in a child's life

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Vliv otce- alkoholika na život dítěte“ se zabývá nevhodným působením otce- alkoholika na dítě. V teoretické části popisuji sociální dopady alkoholismu na alkoholika a jeho rodinu. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována dítěti, především problematice zanedbávání a špatného zacházení s dítětem, k němuž vlivem alkoholismu rodiče, velice často dochází. Empirická část obsahuje rozhovory s dospělými dětmi alkoholika, snaží se přiblížit život těchto dětí, jak se vypořádaly se situací v rodině a jak je tato zkušenost ovlivnila.

Abstract:

The Thesis „Alcoholic father and his influence on a child's life“ deals with unsuitable effects of alcoholic father to child. The theoretical part describes the social impacts of alcoholism on the alcoholic and his family. Special attention is paid to the child, especi-ally the issue of neglect and ill-treatment of a child, which often occurs due to alcoho-lism. In the empirical part of the interviews with adult children of an alcoholic father, and tries to get closer to the life of these children how to deal with the situation in the family and how this affected the experience.
