Server Push technology and its use in RIA
Abstract:
Cílem práce je popsat technologii Server Push, což je komunikace opačným směrem než u Ajaxu. Poté je vybrán aplikační rámec vhodný pro Google Web Toolkit. Vybraný aplikační rámec je začleněn do metadatového editoru MEdit v Moravské zemské knihovně. MEdit je dále rozšířen o vhodné prvky využívající technologii Server Push.
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to describe Server Push technology, which is a communication in the opposite direction from Ajax. Application framework suitable for Google Web Toolkit is selected and integrated into the metadata editor of the Moravian Library - MEdit. MEdit is then further enhanced by appropriate elements using Server Push technology.
