M. Montessori Elementary School and the Application of Montessori Ideas in practice

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou pedagogického přístupu dle Marie Montessori na základní škole. Teoretická část je věnována alternativnímu školství, životu a dílu Marie Montessori, základním myšlenkám a principům jejího učení v souvislosti s pojetím dítěte a s výchovou v Montessori školách. V empirické části je prezentován provedený kvalitativní výzkum, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, zda současná praxe v konkrétních školách, zaměřených na myšlenky M. Montessori, odpovídá původním záměrům v klasické Montessori škole. V rámci kvalitativního výzkumu byla pro sběr dat použita metoda polostrukturovaného hloubkového rozhovoru, pro analýzu a interpretaci údajů design zakotvené teorie, technika otevřeného, axiálního a selektivního kódování.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of pedagogical approach according to Marie Montessori in primary school. The theoretical part is devoted to alternative education, the life and work of Maria Montessori, the basic ideas and principles of her learning in connection with the concept of the child and education in Montessori schools. The empirical part presents a proven qualitative research, the aim of which was to determine whether the current practice in specific schools, focused on the ideas of M. Montessori, corresponds to the original intentions in the classical Montessori school. Within the qualitative research, the method of semi-structured in-depth interview was used for data collection, for the analysis and interpretation of data the design of the grounded theory, the technique of open, axial and selective coding.
