Motivation of restaurateurs to help homeless people

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je zkoumání motivace zapojení (či nezapojení) brněnských restauratérů do projektu Jídlo pro bezdomovce. Hlavní myšlenkou této charitativní aktivity je předávání neprodaných a nepoužitých obědových menu, které by jinak restaurace podle hygienické normy musely vyhodit. Ze zjištěných pozitivních i chybějících prvků projektu byly navrhnuty změny, které by mohly pomoci sociálním pracovníkům dosáhnout rozšíření projektu mezi více donátorů nebo do dalších měst. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části jsou rozepsány základní pojmy vztahující se k tématu. V závěru teoretické části je popsána metodika výzkumného šetření. Empirická část je pak věnována interpretaci a analýze uskutečněného dotazování mezi oficiálně zapojenými a nezapojenými restauratéry. Práce má 11 209 slov.

Abstract:

Title in english: Motivation of restaurateurs to help homeless people. The main subject of this diploma work is to map motivation of restaurateurs to participace (or not) in the project Meals for homelesspeople in Brno. The main idea of this charity activity is the redistribution of unsold and unused lunch menu, which would otherwise restaurateurs according to hygiene standards have to throw away. Survey among restaurateurs was focused on motivational factors. The identified results were designed to help social workers to improve and promote the expansion of the project among other donors or to other cities. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part are described the basic concepts related to the topic. At the end of first part, there is described research methodology. The empirical part is devoteed to the interpretation and analysis made according to responds from restaurateurs offical involved to the project od or not involved. The work counts 11 209 words.
