Needs of clients using the social service of the low-threshold facility for children and youth

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem potřeb klientů využívající sociální službu Nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež v Bílině se zaměřením na starší klienty. Cílem práce je analýza potřeb dětí a mládeže navštěvující tuto sociální službu. Práce se nejdříve zabývá sociální službou Nízkoprahové zařízení pro děti a mládež. V práci je věnovaná také pozornost cílové skupině, která službu využívá. Následně je práce zaměřena na samotné potřeby a jejich teoretické ukotvení. Důležitou částí bakalářské práce je kvalitativní výzkum, který byl realizován polostrukturovanými rozhovory s klienty služby v Nízkoprahovém zařízení pro děti a mládež v Bílině, kterou poskytuje organizace Člověk v tísni o.p.s. V rámci šetření bylo zjištěno několik oblastí, kde nejsou potřeby klientů zcela naplněny a jedná se zejména o oblast vztahů a důvěry. Naopak některé oblasti nejevily významné nedostatky.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis project focuses on the needs of clients using the social service of a low threshold establishment for children and youngsters in Bílina with an emphasis on older clients. The objective of this work is to analyze the needs of children and adolescents who visit this social service. The work first investigates the social service of low-threshold institutions for children and adolescent. The work then pays attention to the target group of service users. Subsequently, the work focuses on the needs themselves and their theoretical basis. An important part of the bachelor thesis was a qualitative research, which was carried out through semi-structured interviews with clients of the service in Bílina, which is provided by the organization People in Need o.p.s. in the Low Threshold facility for children and youth. In the course of the investigation, several areas were found where the needs of clients are not completely fulfilled, particularly in the area of relationships and trust. At the same time, some areas did not exhibit significant deficiencies.
