Return to the roots of photography - the camera obscura

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návratem ke klasické fotografii a znovuobjevením fotografování camerou obscurou. Na základě zkušeností jak z historie, tak ze současnosti se teoretická část věnuje výrobě camery obscury, práci s ní a seznamuje se vším, co s vytvořením fotografií souvisí. Objevuje se zde výčet fotografů a malířů, kteří se věnovali fotografii z různých úhlů pohledu, experimentům i fotogramům. Teoretická část je tematicky provázána s obsahem projektu, který je v kontextu s rámcovým vzdělávacím plánem. Praktická část je rozdělena do 3 bloků. První blok děti seznamuje s tématem projektu, prací s fotochemií a fotopapírem. Druhý blok je zaměřen na výrobu camery obscury a práci s ní. Třetí blok pak nechává prostor pro vlastní dětskou tvorbu, která vychází z umění fotografů hlavně 20. století, se zaměřením na práci s experimentem a náhodou. Je zde možné nalézt popis postupů při práci i popis problematických částí, které se během reali-zace objevily.

Abstract:

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with return to classical photos and rediscovery of photography with a camera obscura (a pinhole camera). Theoretical part of the thesis concentrates on production of camera obscura and its operation and introduces everything connected with creation of photos on the background of both historical and present experience. The thesis shows a list of photographers and painters, who were devoted to the photo from different angles, experiments and photograms as well. The theoretical part is thematically related to the content of the project, which is in context with the General Educational Plan. Practical part of the thesis is split into three blocks. The first block introduces children to the theme of the project, working with photochemistry and photo paper. The second block focuses on production of the camera obscura and work with it. The third block pro-vides space for children's own work, which is based on the art of photographers from the early 20th century up to today with a focus on working with experiment and fortuity. It is possible to find description of work procedures and problematic areas that emerged during project implementation in the thesis.
