Comprehensive Project of Forest Restoration after Bark Bettle’s Calamity in the Area of LS LCR Cerna Hora

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je komplexní zpracování projektu obnovy lesa po kůrovcové kalamitě na revíru Kuničky. Revír Kuničky je součástí Lesní správy Černá Hora státního podniku Lesy České republiky s.p.. Projekt řeší přeměnu druhové skladby v porostech z původních rozsáhlých monokultur smrku ztepilého, u kterých došlo vlivem kůrovcové kalamity k rozpadu, k přírodě blízké a druhově bohaté skladbě porostu. Celková plocha holin činí 29,24 ha. V roce 2022-2023 bude docházet k rozsáhlým zalesňovacím pracím, které jsou první částí projektu. Kvůli nedostatku okolních porostů budou plochy obnovovány uměle širokým spektrem lesních dřevin. Další částí projektu jsou činnosti vedoucí k ochraně kultur. Bude se jednat o mechanickou a chemickou ochranu proti škodám zvěří, ochranu proti negativnímu vlivu buřeně, chemickou ochranu proti klikorohu borovému a chemickou ochranu proti padlí dubovému. Poslední část tvoří přehled ekonomických nákladů vynaložených ke zdárné obnově lesa.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is a comprehensive elaboration of the project of forest restoration after Bark Beetle’s calamity in Kunicky district. The district of Kunicky is a part of the Forestry Administration Cerna Hora of the state enterprise Forests of Czech Republic s. p.. The project solves a transformation of the species composition in the stand from the original large monocultures of Norway spruce, which occured due to the Bark Beetle’s calamity. The species transformation will be close to nature and the species-rich composition of the stand. The total area of clearings is 29,24 ha. In 2022-2023, there will be extensive afforestation works, which is the first part od the project. Due to the lack of surrounding stands, the areas will be artificially regenerate. Therefore we have to do an artificial regeneration with wide spectrum of forest’s trees. Another part of the project are activities leading to the protection of forest plantation. It includes mechanical and chemical protection against a damage from wild animals, protection against the negative effects of weeds, chemical protection against the Pine weevil and chemical protection against the Oak mildew. The last part of project is formed by a summary of economic costs incurred for successful reforestation.
