Strategické plánování cestovního ruchu v Ázerbájdžánu

Abstract:

Ázerbájdžán je země s bohatou, starodávnou kulturou, s rozsáhlými přírodními zdroji a stejně tak zajímavými lidmi, jejichž životní styl je jedinečnou a harmonickou kombinací obřadů a tradic různých kultur a civilizací. Země má velký potenciál pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu díky svým podmanivým památkám, starobylým městům, pevnostem, palácům, mešitám, kostelům a mauzoleím. Země má také úžasnou místní kuchyni a pestré přírodní rozdíly. V současné době roste turismus v Ázerbájdžánu rapidním tempem. V roce 2016 navštívilo zemi téměř tři milióny turistů, což bylo zachováno i v následujících letech. Cílem diplomové práce bylo prozkoumat strategické plánování cestovního ruchu v Ázerbájdžánu s důrazem na postupy, které země použila ke zlepšení turistického sektoru, a na nejdůležitější problémy, které v tomto procesu nastávají. Studie byla také dále zaměřena na definování společných a akceptovaných postupů pro strategické plánování na národní úrovní, které byly následně srovnány s postupy užívanými v Ázerbájdžánu. Teoretická část obsahuje rámce a teorie zabývající se kulturním cestovním ruchem, udržitelným turismem a agroturistikou. Zpracované informace byly následně zanalyzovány pro vytvoření doporučení. Z přehledu literatury vyplynulo, že Ázerbájdžán má bohatou kulturu a přitažlivá místa a vláda realizuje různé strategické postupy, jejichž cílem je učinit Ázerbájdžán přední světovou turistickou destinací.

Abstract:

Azerbaijan is quite an intriguing country nation with a rich ancient culture and vast natural resources as well as interesting people whose lifestyle offers a unique and harmonious combination of ceremonies and traditions of different cultures and civilizations. The country has great potential for the growth of the tourism industry, with captivating sights, ancient cities, fortresses, palaces, mosques, churches, and mausoleums. The country also has wonderful climate cuisine, diversity, and nature. Currently, tourism is growing at a rapid pace in Azerbaijan. Indeed, in 2016 the country received nearly three million tourists a number that has been maintained the following years. The aim of the research is to examine the strategic planning of tourism in Azerbaijan by focusing on the strategic planning measures that Azerbaijan has established to improve its tourism sector, and looking at the most important and significant issues that the government seeks to address to enhance tourism in the country. In addition, the study as well focused on defining common and accepted approaches for strategically planning on the national level and compare when with strategies taken by Azerbaijan. The theoretical section comprises frameworks and theories regarding cultural tourism, sustainable tourism and rural tourism. The data utilized were selected to form these areas of study and analyzed to inform recommendations. The literature review has revealed that Azerbaijan has a rich culture and attractive sites, and the government has implemented various strategic policies aimed at making Azerbaijan be a leading global destination.
