Business Ethics - Creating a Business Environment

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou etiky v podnikání, kdy si autorka dává za cíl tento rozsáhlý, složitý a nejednoznačný koncept analyzovat a na základě teoretického a terénního výzkumu zhodnotit současný stav a úroveň v českém podnikatelském prostředí. Práce je rozdělena do několika částí. V první části autorka definuje etiku v podnikání, související pojmy a koncepce, popisuje její vývoj ve světě i v ČR a objasňuje její důležitost. Výsledkem je zpracovaná důkladná literární rešerše mapující přístupy ke zkoumané problematice českých i zahraničních odborníků. Ve druhé části práce jsou vymezeny základní cíle disertačního zkoumání a z nich se odvíjející výzkumné otázky. Třetí část disertační práce popisuje základní metody a techniky zkoumání, které budou ve výzkumné činnosti použity. Čtvrtá kapitola představuje shrnutí hlavních výsledků práce a návrh modelu rozdělení společností dle jejich vnímání a postojů k řešené problematice. Součástí této kapitoly je také vypracovaný návrh inovace výuky zkoumané problematiky na Fakultě managementu a ekonomiky UTB ve Zlíně. Poslední část shrnuje přínosy práce pro rozvoj vědeckého poznání a podnikovou praxi a definuje možnosti dalšího pokračování.

Abstract:

The Doctoral thesis deals with the issue of business ethics whereas the author aims to analyze this vast, complex and ambiguous concept and on the basis of theoretical and field research to evaluate the current status and level in the Czech business environment. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first section, the author defines business ethics, related terms and concepts, describes its development in the world as well as in the Czech Republic and explains its importance. The result consists of thoroughly processed literature search mapping approaches of Czech and foreign experts to the researched issue. The second part of the thesis defines the fundamental objectives of dissertation research and of them unfolding research questions. The third part of the thesis describes the basic research methods and techniques that will be used in the research. The fourth chapter presents a summary of the main results and a model proposal for the division of companies according to their perceptions and attitudes towards the issue under consideration. This chapter also includes a developed proposal for innovation in teaching the surveyed issue at the Faculty of Management and Economics of TBU in Zlín. The last section summarizes the benefits of work for the development of scientific knowledge and business practice and defines the possibilities for further continuation.
