Trophology as a subject of LSP. A didactic orientated Analysis

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the technical language of the science of nutrition (LSN). The impetus for the thesis stems from the author’s knowledge of and interest in the science of nutrition. Another reason for the choice of the topic was the fact that the LSN has been neither well-researched, nor worked on from the point of view of didactics. The key step in the research was to conduct an analysis of a large amount of scientific texts and materials, whose aim was to find out whether the LSN is an independent technical language. Although the LSN proved to be heavily influenced by technical languages of medicine, chemistry, biology, psychology and gastronomy, it was established that the LSN is as independent as the science itself. The second part of the thesis focuses on teachingmethodological work with the LSN and is based on the methodology of languages for special purposes. This methodology served as the basis for the creating the practical part – a didactic proposal in form of 3 modules and the concept of scientifically oriented teaching of German language. The theoretical basis for the practical part was not only the analysis and methodology, but also the method of CLIL, which is applied in the third module. The thesis is one of the theoretical, practical, linguistic and didactic steps on the way to create a specialized course of the language of the science of nutrition.

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je odborný jazyk vědy o výživě. K výběru tématu vedl nejen zájem o tuto vědní disciplínu a vlastní vzdělání v oboru, nýbrž i fakt, že tento odborný jazyk nebyl doposud ani podrobně zkoumán ani didaktizován. Prvním krokem byla jazykové analýza velkého množství odborných textů a materiálů, která měla ukázat, zda se opravdu jedná o samostatný odborný jazyk. I přes značnou interdisciplinaritu a vliv odborného jazyka medicíny, chemie, biologie, ale i psychologie nebo gastronomie, se ukázalo, že je zkoumaný jazyk stejně samostatný jako vědní disciplína, která ho používá. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na didaktizaci jazyka vědy o výživě a vychází z poznatků didaktiky odborného jazyka, pod jejímž vlivem byl vypracován i praktický výsledek – didaktický návrh v podobě 3 výukových modulů a koncept odborně zaměřené výuky německého jazyka. Teoretickým podkladem byla nejen provedená analýza a didaktické teorie, ale i metoda CLIL, která je aplikována ve třetím výukovém modulu. Následující práce je jedním z prvních, teoretických i praktických, lingvistických a didaktických kroků na cestě k vytvoření celého specializovaného jazykového kurzu.
