Evalution of the imapcts of COVID-19 epidemy on the situation in a children's home

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá smyslem ústavní výchovy ve vzdělávacím systému České republiky, jejím postavením a opodstatněním při péči o svěřené děti. Definuje také nejčastější důvody k umístění dítěte do ústavní výchovy, výhody a nevýhody ústavní výchovy či nákladovost péče. Autorka diplomové práce se zabývá dětským domovem zejména z pohledu finanční náročnosti v době pandemie epidemie Covid-19, přičemž ji zajímalo, jakým způsobem pandemie postihla provoz zařízení, finanční stránku provozu, psychiku dětí a zaměstnanců. Zároveň ji zajímala také pomoc státu v této složité době. Teoretická část práce řeší problematiku výchovy a péče v zařízení, finanční nákladovost péče, stejně jako systém péče o děti. Praktická část práce se zabývá obdobím pandemie Covid-19, jeho finanční náročností a úlohou státu v této složité době.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the meaning of institutional education in the educational system of the Czech Republic, its position and justification in the care of entrusted children. It also defines the most common reasons for placing a child in institutional care, advantages and disadvantages of institutional education or the cost of care. The author of the diploma thesis deals with children's home mainly from the point of view of financial demands during the pandemic of the Covid-19 epidemic, while she was interested in how the pandemic affected the operation of the facility, the financial side of the operation, the psyche of children and employees. She was also interested in state assistance in this difficult time. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis addresses the issue of education and care in the facility, the financial cost of care, as well as the child care system. The practical part of the diploma thesis deals with the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, its financial demands and the role of the state in this difficult time.
