Rhythmic gymnastics and dance in physical education in a special class

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové bylo přispět k rozvoji a širšímu zařazení prvků rytmické gymnastiky a tance do hodin tělesné výchovy ve speciální třídě při práci s žáky se středně těžkou mentální retardací. V teoretické části práce se zabýváme pojmem rytmická gymnastika ve vztahu k osobám se středním těžkým mentálním postižením, charakteristikou těchto osob a jejich schopnostmi a možnostmi. Dále zde vymezujeme použité formy a metody vyučování, práce a specifika práce s nimi. V hlavní části popisujeme Speciální základní a mateřskou školu ve Varnsdorfu, kde se uskutečnila realizace celé práce. Zaměřili jsme se na zařazení prvků rytmické gymnastiky a tance v hodinách tělesné výchovy, na možnosti využití v dalších činnostech a zlepšení vztahu k pohybovým činnostem pro tyto žáky. Práce obsahuje návrh a realizaci činností zpracovanou na videosnímku, který je přílohou práce. Metodou pedagogického pozorování jsme sledovali účinek a vliv těchto činností na žáky se středně těžkým mentálním postižením, jejich další přístup a chuť do dalších nových činností a k tělesné výchově. Také jsme sledovali vliv zařazených prvků na celkový přístup celého kolektivu a spolupráci mezi dětmi a vyučujícími.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis was to contribute to development and wider inclusion of elements of rhythmic gymnastics into classes of Physical Education in a special needs form when working with pupils with moderate mental retardation. In the theoretical part of the thesis we deal with term 'rhythmic gymnastics' in relation to people with moderate mental retardation, their characteristics and their skills and possibilities. Further we delimit used forms and methods of teaching and work and specifics of using them. In the main part we describe Special Needs Elementary and Nursery School in Varnsdorf, where realization of the thesis took place. We focused on inclusion of elements of rhythmic gymnastics and dance into classes of Physical Education and on possible use in other activities and improving relationship of these pupils to motor activities. The thesis includes suggestion and realization of the activities, which is recorded on an attached video. By means of pedagogical observation method we monitored effect and influence of these activities on pupils with moderate mental handicaps, their further approach to Physical Education and desire to participate in new activities. Moreover, we observed impact of included elements on overall approach of whole collective and cooperation between pupils and teachers.
