Potential of silicate rock powder from quarry Mirošov for CO2 capture
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis focuses on the potential of silicate rock powder from the Mirošov quarry to capture carbon dioxide through chemical weathering. The capture was monitored in a constructed laboratory system by measuring the concentrations of this gas in the air. Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na potenciál silikátové moučky z lomu Mirošov zachytávat oxid uhličitý přes procesy chemického zvětrávaní. Záchyt byl sledován v sestrojené laboratorní soustavě měřením koncentrací tohoto plynu ve vzduchu. Silikátová moučka, s obchodním názvem Brozit, dokázala během experimentu pohltit 5,417 mg CO2. Experiment trval 160 dní a bylo v něm použito 10 g navážky. Studován byl …more
