Evaluation of the Financial Health and its Importance for the Business Management

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce "Vyhodnocení finančního zdraví a jeho význam pro řízení podniku" je vyhodnocení finančního zdraví zkoumaného podniku pomocí vybraných metod. Dílčím cílem je provedení finanční analýzy pomocí absolutních, poměrových a rozdílových ukazatelů včetně vybraných bankrotních a bonitních modelů společnosti Mattoni 1873 a.s., udaje jsou čerpaný z rozvahy a VZZ za období 2017 - 2019. Teoretická čast vysvětluje pojem finanční analýzy a firemních financi. Jsou zde vysvětlený jednotlivé metody a postupy při výpočtech. Praktická čast hodnotí finanční zdraví podniku. Na začatku je popisuje samotný podnik dál je provedena vertikální a horizontalní analýza rozvahy a VZZ. Pote se provádí výpočty a interpretace výsledků ukazatelů rentability, aktivity, zadluženosti, stability a likvidity podniku. Na konci se provádí aplikace bonitních a bankrotních modelů. Na zavěr je ohodnoceno finanční zdráví společnosti Mattoni 1873 a.s. jeho vliv na vedení a navrhují se způsoby zlepšení jeho zdráví.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis "Evaluation of the financial health an its importance for the business management" is to evaluate the financial health of the investigated enterprise by using selected methods. Sub-goals is to carry out financial analysis using absolute, ratio and difference indicators including selected bankruptcy and creditworthiness models of Mattoni 1873 corp., the data are taken from the balance sheet and from the income statement for the period 2017-2019. The theoretical part explains the concept of financial analysis and corporate finance. Here are explained methods and procedures for calculations. The practical part assesses the financial health of the enterprise. First the company is characterizes, and then the vertical and horizontal analysis of the balance sheet and income statement, followed by calculations and interpretation of indicators of liquidity, profitability, asset and debt management and financial stability. At the end, the application of creditworthy and bankruptcy models is carried out. In the conclusion financial health of the company Mattoni 1873 corp. its influence on management and ways of improving its health are suggested.
