Managerial ethics as a company's competitive advantage on the labor market

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje etice malých a středních zaměstnavatelů v České republice a zároveň mapuje i vnímání etiky ze strany zaměstnanců. Cílem práce je zhodnocení současného stavu etického přístupu na základě dat získaných z dotazníkových šetření, analýza rozdílů přístupu zaměstnanců a zaměstnavatelů a také vyhodnocení dat v závislosti na velikosti zaměstnavatele a jeho příslušnosti do regionů ekonomického centra nebo ekonomické periférie. Součástí práce jsou návrhy na zlepšení aktuální situace s cílem zvýšit ekonomickou odolnost a konkurenceschopnost jak firem, tak jejich zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the ethics of small and medium-sized employers in the Czech Republic while also mapping the perception of ethics from the employees' perspective. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of ethical approach based on data obtained from questionnaire surveys, analyze differences in approach between employees and employers, and evaluate the data depending on the size of the employer and its affiliation with either the economic center or economic periphery regions. The thesis includes proposals for improving the current situation with the aim of enhancing the economic resilience and competitiveness of both companies and their employees.
