T-lymfocyty lze upravit tak, aby rozpoznaly specifický antigen na povrchu rakovinné buňky pomocí chimerního antigenního receptoru (CAR). Velké množství klinických studií prokázalo účinnost tohoto postupu při léčbě těch nejzávažnějších nádorových onemocnění, zejména B- -lymfocytárních malignit (lymfomy, mnohočetný myelom), ale také solidních tumorů (sarkom, glioblastom). T-lymphocytes can be reconstructed in a way, that they can recognize specific antigen on the surface of cancer cell, using chimeric antigen receptor (CAR).
