Abstract:
This master thesis deals with Robert Musil's novel Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß. The aim of this thesis is an analysis and a comparison of one English and two Czech translations of this novel. The theoretical part is based on the translation theory of Bohumil Mathesius and Jiří Levý and provides a literary analysis of the source text. Tato magisterská práce se zabývá románem Roberta Musila Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß. Cílem této práce je analýza a srovnání jednoho anglického a dvou českých překladů tohoto díla. Teoretická část této práce se opírá o poznatky dvou předních českých teoretiků překladu, a to Bohumila Mathesia a Jiřího Levého.
