Analysis of employee turnover in a selected company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou fluktuace ve vybrané společnosti. Fluktuace zaměstnanců je v určité míře nevyhnutelná, ale její vyšší míra může způsobit vážné problémy. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. V první, teoretické části, je vysvětlen pojem fluktuace a míra fluktuace. Dále jsou uvedeny příčiny fluktuace v souvislosti s jednotlivými personálními činnostmi, pozitivní a negativní dopady fluktuace pro organizaci a možnosti snížení fluktuace. Ve druhé, tedy praktické části, je na základě dotazníkového šetření zjištěno, jaké jsou důvody zaměstnanců pro odchod z organizace a jaké jsou naopak důvody zaměstnanců pro setrvání v organizaci. V poslední závěrečné části je vyhodnoceno dotazníkové šetření pomocí stanovených hypotéz a jsou navržena nápravná opatření a doporučení pro snížení fluktuace v organizaci. Cílem práce je analýza fluktuace zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci.

Abstract:

The Master’s thesis concerns with employee turnover in a selected company. Certain rate of employee turnover is inevitable but it can cause severe problems. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first, theoretical part, is described the term employee turnover, employee turnover rate, causes of employee turnover in connection with HR activities, effects of employee turnover and option for decreasing employee turnover. The second, practical part, is based on a research in form of questionnaire that discovers why employees leave the organization and on the other hand why they stay in the organization. In the last part are evaluated the results of the research compared to the hypotheses and are presented recommendations for reduction of employee turnover. The aim of this thesis is to analyze employee turnover in a selected company.
