The benefits of e-learning in corporate education

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to identify the e-learning and its application in a corporate environment. The main objective of this work is to define the quantitative and qualitative impact of e-learning for particular customer and to decide which of the proposed variants of e-learning solutions will be the most effective for the enterprise and will produce immediate results. Theoretical part of this thesis defines basic business fields as trade knowledge management, learning organization, knowledge, history of e-learning, current trends and types of e-learning. Practical part of this thesis uses several methods like interview with key persons, analysis of internal documents, and the method of learning environment. Based on the methods used in the practical part customer needs has been detected and according to that the variant solutions of deployment of the e-learning have been proposed and specified at the end of this work.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá e-learningom a jeho využitím v podnikovom prostredí. Hlavným cieľom tejto práce je definovať kvantitatívne a kvalitatívne vyjadrenie dopadu zavedenia e-learningu u konkrétneho zákazníka a rozhodnúť, ktorá z navrhovaných variant riešení e-learningu bude pre podnik najefektívnejšia a bude prinášať okamžité výsledky. V teoretickej časti sú definované základné odborové východiská, ako je znalostný manažment, učiaca sa organizácia, znalosť, história e-learningu, súčasné formy a trendy e-learningu. Na základe metód použitých v praktickej časti: metóda rozhovoru s kľúčovými osobami, analýza interných dokumentov, metóda vzdelávacieho prostredia došlo k zisteniu potreby daného zákazníka a následnému navrhnutiu riešenia variant nasadenia e-learningu, ktoré sú odporúčané a špecifikované v závere tejto práce.
