Specifics of German language teaching for pupils with mild mental disabilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá specifiky výuky v německém jazyce u žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením na základní škole praktické, dále vyučovacími metodami, formami práce, didaktickými pomůckami, způsoby jakými jsou žáci motivováni, učebními strategiemi a učebními styly žáků. Diplomová práce se skládá ze čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole jsou shrnuta teoretická východiska mentálního postižení. V druhé kapitole je popsán systémem vzdělávání žáků s mentálním postižením. Třetí kapitola se zabývá didaktikou německého jazyka, problematikou rozvoje jazykových prostředků u žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením a problematikou stylů učení, které hrají významnou roli v úspěšnosti osvojování německého jazyka. Ve čtvrté kapitole je obsažen kvalitativní výzkum diplomové práce, jehož cílem je zjistit, jaká jsou specifika výuky německého jazyka u žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the specifics of teaching the German language to pupils with mild intellectual disabilities at a primary school for students with mild intellectual disabilities. Further, it is focused on the teaching methods, different forms of work with these pupils, didactic aids, motivation, teaching strategies and learning styles. The diploma thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter the theoretical bases of the mental disability are summarized. In the second chapter the system of education of pupils with intellectual disability is described. The third chapter deals with didactics of German as a foreign language and with issues such as language development and learning styles, which play a major role in successful acquiring of the German language. The fourth chapter contains qualitative research. The aim of the research is to find out what the specifics of teaching the German language to pupils with mild intellectual disabilities are.
