Práce se věnuje vývoji vztahů mezi Spojeným královstvím a Evropskou unii, které rozvíjí skrze historické události během britského členství v Evropském projektu. Závěr práce se věnuje analýze britského euroskepticismu, který vyvrcholil v roce 2016 referendem o vystoupení z EU. V práci se nachází i krátká analýza vývoje Brexitu a situaci po něm.
