Medical rehabilitation plan and process in tretment of older patient with Parkinson disease
Abstract:
Parkinson´s disease is neurodegenerative disease, caused by degradation of dopaminergic neurons of basal ganglia and their synapses. Leading group of symptoms is hypokinetic-rigid syndrome. We can´t cure Parkinson´s disease so treatment is just symptomatic. Third part in this bachelor´s thesis is about fyzioterapeutic treatment provided to patient by author

Parkinsonová choroba je neurodegeneratívne ochorenie, zapríčinené degradáciou dopaminergných neurónov v oblasti bazálnych gangliách a ich spojoch. Pri parkinsonovej chorobe je vedúcou skupinou príznakov hypokineticko-rigidný syndróm. Toto ochorenie je nevyliečiteľné a liečba je len symptomatická.
