The causes and consequences of the bankruptcy of the travel agency

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce obsahuje tři části: teoretickou, analytickou a návrhovou. Teoretická část práce vymezuje pojem cestovní ruch, popisuje role a význam cestovních kanceláře v cestovním ruchu z teoretického pohledu. V teoretické části je popsána historie, funkce a cíle cestovních kanceláři a problémy, se kterými se setkají v průběhu svého fungování, které mohou přivést k jejich úpadku. Také je popsán pojem organizační struktury podniků a její typy. Analytická část je zaměřena na popis cestovní kanceláře Neva, a to z hlediska jejího vzniku a rozvoje, je popsána její organizační struktura, příčiny jejího úpadku a jeho následky. Na konci této části je uvedena SWOT analýza cestovní kanceláře Neva a provedeno dotazníkové šetření zákazníků cestovních kanceláři. V návrhové časti práce jsou uvedeny doporučení, díky který se cestovní kanceláře podobné velikosti a organizace jako cestovní kancelář Neva mohou snáze vyhnout úpadku způsobeném příčinami rozebranými v analytické části. V bakalářské práci byly použity metody jako analýza a dotazníkové šetření. Cílem práce je analýza příčin úpadku cestovní kanceláře Neva v Rusku, poté rozebrání jejích následků a nakonec vytvoření návrhů, díky kterým je možné se vyhnout úpadku při okolnostech specifikovaných v práci.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis consists of three parts: theoretical, analytical and proposal. Theoretical part defines the term tourist industry and describes the role of travel agency in tourist industry from theoretical point of view. Theoretical part also describes history, functions and goals of travel agencies and problems, which travel agencies have to face and which can lead to their failure. The term organisation structure of enterprises and its types is also decribed in this part. Analytical part focuses on travel agency Neva. This part describes Neva’s origin and development, its organisation structure and reasons of failure. At the end of this part there is a SWOT analysis of travel agency Neva and questionnaire survey of customers of travel agency. Recommendations are mentioned in the last part, which is called propasal. Travel agencies with same size and organisation structure can avoid failure thanks to these recommendations. Bachelor thesis uses methods like analysis and questionnaire survey. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the causes of failure of travel agency Neva in Russia and to analyse its consequences and finally to create proposal, which can help avoid failure during conditions, which are specified in this bachelor thesis.
