Cyber attacks on critical state infrastructure

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku kybernetických útoků na kritickou infrastrukturu státu. Hlavním cílem práce je poskytnout přehled o různých druzích kybernetických útoků, které mohou být zaměřeny na kritickou infrastrukturu, a analyzovat, jak tyto útoky mohou ohrozit bezpečnost a stabilitu státu. Práce se zabývá také otázkou, jak může stát chránit svou kritickou infrastrukturu před kybernetickými útoky a jaké jsou nejlepší způsoby, jak předcházet těmto útokům. V rámci práce jsou popsány různé druhy kybernetických útoků, jako jsou útoky na síťovou infrastrukturu, útoky na operační systémy, útoky na webové aplikace a další. Dále jsou rozebrány různé techniky, které mohou být použity při kybernetických útocích, jako jsou phishing, malware, ransomware a další. V práci je také provedena analýza reálných případů kybernetických útoků na kritickou infrastrukturu a jsou diskutovány jejich dopady na společnost a hospodářství. Dále jsou v práci prezentovány nejlepší postupy a strategie pro prevenci kybernetických útoků na kritickou infrastrukturu a ochranu před nimi. Celkově je tato bakalářská práce důležitým příspěvkem k tématu kybernetické bezpečnosti a poskytuje ucelený pohled na problematiku kybernetických útoků na kritickou infrastrukturu státu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure of the state. The main aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of different types of cyber-attacks that may target critical infrastructure and analyze how these attacks can jeopardize the security and stability of the state. The thesis also addresses the question of how the state can protect its critical infrastructure against cyber-attacks and what are the best ways to prevent such attacks. The thesis describes various types of cyber-attacks, such as attacks on network infrastructure, attacks on operating systems, attacks on web applications, and others. Furthermore, different techniques that can be used in cyber-attacks are analyzed, such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and others. The thesis also presents an analysis of real-world cases of cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure and discusses their impact on society and the economy. Additionally, the thesis provides best practices and strategies for preventing cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure and protecting against them. Overall, this bachelor's thesis is an important contribution to the field of cyber security and provides a comprehensive view of the issue of cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure of the state.
