Abstract:
The work puts mind to historical novel of Ladislav Fuks The Duchess and the Cook. It targets the interpretation of the motives, it also puts mind interpretation of meaning of the novel´s title and mottos. It approaches to interpretation in respect of writer´s life and previous work
