Bakalářská práce se věnuje zahraniční politice Svatého stolce během pontifikátu papeže Jana Pavla II. Nejprve se práce zabývá vymezením obecné koncepce papežovy politiky, posléze se zaměřuje na zahraniční politiku papeže vůči Polsku a Československu během studené války a bezprostředně po pádu komunistického režimu. Bachelor thesis is focused on the foreign policy of Holy See during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II. First of all, the thesis deals with the concept of papal policy in general, eventually it concentrates on the foreign policy of John Paul II towards Poland and Czechoslovakia during the Cold war and immediately after the fall of communistic regime.
