To investigate the key problems and possible approaches to governance within the cybersphere using examples from medieval Europe to help understand the problem and the possible effects of various solutions. Aiming to separate the conversation of governance over different topics, specifically; market exchanges, public goods problems, and concerns about stability and corruption to better challenge ‘one size fits all’ approaches to governance.
