Adaptation of Employees in the Selected Organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá adaptačním procesem ve vybrané střední organizaci. S růstem organizace se proces adaptace proměňuje, mění se z živelného na řízený. Správně zacílený a nastavený adaptační proces má zajistit hladké zaučení nového zaměstnance na jeho nové pracovní místo. Výsledkem má být plně adaptovaný zaměstnanec, který co nejdříve začne dobře vykonávat svojí práci, být angažovaný a cítit se jako součást organizace. Celý proces adaptace a jeho jednotlivé činnosti jsou popsány v teoretické části práce. Cílem praktické části práce je zjistit, zda adaptační plán je správně zacílený, a to jak na potřeby nových zaměstnanců, tak na požadavky vedoucích pracovníků. Šetření je prováděno pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a analýzy dokumentů. Z odpovědí respondentů jsme zjistili, že stávající adaptační plán je poměrně dobře zacílený a velmi dobře pomáhá novým zaměstnancům v jejich adaptaci v nové organizaci. Zároveň byly zjištěné kroky, které může organizace podniknout k ještě lepší a efektivnější adaptaci. Návrhy na optimalizaci se týkaly sepsání písemných materiálu nebo speciální školení osob, které jsou zapojeny do procesu adaptace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the adaptation process in selected middle organization. As organization grows, the process of adaptation changes, process is changing from unrestricted to controlled. A properly targeted and adjusted adaptation process is designed to ensure a smooth new employee's training for new job position. The result should be a fully-fledged employee who, as soon as possible, starts performing his work well, engaging and feeling as a part of the organization. The whole process of adaptation and its individual activities are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to find out if the adaptational plan is properly targeted, both to the needs of new employees and to the requirements of executives. The survey is done through semi-structured interviews and document analysis. From the respondents' answers, we found that the current adaptational plan is relatively well targeted and very well helps new employees adapt to the new job position and organization. At the same time, there have been identified steps that the organization can take to make even better and more effective adaptation. Suggestions for optimalization included writing written materials or special training for people involved in the adaptational process.
