Abstract:
Piwi-interagující RNA patří mezi rozsáhlou skupinu nekódujících molekul RNA, tyto molekuly plní různé funkce jak ve fyziologických, tak patologických procesech. Piwi-interagující RNA se řadí mezi krátké nekódující molekuly RNA a za jejich hlavní funkci je považována represe mobilních elementů, čímž se podílí na udržování stability genomu. Abstract:
Piwi interacting RNAs belong to a large group of non-coding RNAs. These molecules perform different functions in both physiological and pathological processes. Piwi interacting RNAs belong to short non-coding RNAs. Repression of the activity of the mobile elements is considered to be their main function, thereby maintaining genome stability.
