Iseikonic lenses - correction of anisometropia, calculation of custom magnification of a spectacle lens

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o problematice anizometropie. Zpočátku se práce soustředí přímo na anizometropii. Přesně ji definuje, jaký je původ názvu a rozděluje anizometropii podle určitých kritérií. Také uvádí, jaké jsou její příznaky a jaké může způsobit komplikace při snaze o binokulární vidění. Jsou zde vyzdviženy nejzávažnější příznaky a více do hloubky se zabývá aniseikonií; přesnou definici, rozdělení a jakým způsobem lze zjistit její stupeň. Větší část této bakalářské práce se věnuje především korekcí dané refrakční vady. Uvádí, jak korekci pomocí brýlí, tak pomocí kontaktních čoček a v neposlední řadě i refrakční chirurgii. Další kapitola je zaměřena na iseikonické čočky a jejich problematiku. Na závěr je zde matematicky popsán vztah pro vlastní zvětšení brýlových čoček, což úzce souvisí s korekcí iseikonickými čočkami.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with problems of anisometropia. Initially, the work focuses on anisometropia. It defines exactly what is the origin of the name of anisometropia and distributes according to certain criteria. Also features what are its symptoms and what complications can anisometropia cause when trying to binocular vision. There are highlighted the most severe symptoms and it deals with aniseikonia in a more depth, precise definition, classification and how to determine its grade. The greater part of this thesis is primarily devoted to the correction of refractive errors. It covers the correction with glasses, contact lenses and also correction by the refractive surgery. The next chapter focuses on iseikonic lenses. Finally there is a mathematically describe the relationship of spectacle magnification, which is closely linked with the correction by iseikonic lenses.
