Abstract:
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of capitalism, mainly corporate and disaster capitalism and their effect on both individuals and whole societies. The core of disaster capitalism is a natural disaster or any shock to a system, which enables radical social, political or economic changes. This ideology is demonstrated on the aftermath of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005.Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kapitalismu, obzvláště korporátního kapitalismus a kapitalismu pohromy, a jejich vlivem na jednotlivce i celou společnost. Podstatou kapitalismu pohromy je živelná pohroma či jakýkoli šok způsobený systému, který umožní radikální sociální, politické nebo ekonomické změny. Jako příklad je uvedena živelná pohroma v New Orleans v roce 2005.
