Tax Revenues of Local Self-Government Units

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce „Daňové příjmy územních samosprávných celků“ je identifikovat místní daně a zabývat se možnostmi, jak mohou obce ovlivnit výši svých daňových příjmů a dále srovnat novelu zákona o rozpočtovém určení daní s regulací de lege lata. První část je zaměřena na daňové definice, význam a funkce územní samosprávy, její rozpočet se zaměřením na příjmy a dále je také uvedena novelizovaná právní úprava rozpočtového určení daní. V praktické části jsou porovnány daňové příjmy města Bučovice a Slavkova u Brna, která jsou velikostně srovnatelná.

Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor thesis “Tax Revenues of Local Self-Government Units” is to define local taxes and follow up municipal´s possibilities of influencing the amount of its tax revenues and then compare the amendment to the law on budgetary taxes with the control de lege lata. The first part is focused on tax definitions, meaning and functions of local government, its budget with a focus on earnings and then it is stated the revised legislation budget tax, also. In the practical part, the tax revenues of the two concrete towns are compared, town Bučovice and town Slavkov u Brna, which are of the comparable size.
