Revitalization proposal of brownfields ''castle Jeřice'' and its application in agriculture

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku brownfields, a to jak v teoretické, tak v praktické rovině na příkladu konkrétního brownfields „zámek Jeřice“ nacházející se v Královéhradeckém kraji. Práce si klade za cíl navrhnout revitalizaci doposud nevyužitého zemědělského a historického areálu zámku Jeřice, přičemž se předpokládá, že opětovné zemědělské využití bude moci rozvíjet celý region. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy týkající se brownfields, jejich významu, typologií a možností rozvoje daného regionu. Jsou také uvedeny příklady úspěšných revitalizací jak v České republice, tak v zahraničí. V této části diplomové práci je využita metoda rešerše českých a zahraničních literárních zdrojů. Na literární přehled navazuje praktická část. Zde jsou aplikovány metody analýzy, terénního výzkumu, anketního šetření, rozhovoru s majitelem zámku a SWOT analýzy. Na podkladě dílčích analýz je zjištěno, že největší potenciál by měla na daném prostoru biofarma. Přínos diplomové práce proto spočívá v návrhu biofarmy, díky čemuž získá stále chátrající území nové využití, naváže na historii místa a navíc zavede i nové produkty cestovního ruchu (agroturistika), čímž se oživí celý studovaný region.

Abstract:

Thesis focuses on problematics of bronwfields, both in theoretical and practical level on the example of the particular brownfields „castle Jeřice“ situated in Královéhradecký region. The goal of the work is to design a revitalization of the so far unused agricultural and historical grounds of castle Jeřice, in order to re-establish the agriculture development used in the whole region. In the theoretical part are defined basic concepts related to brownfields, their importance, typology and possibility of development in the region. Examples of successful revitalization are also presented both in the Czech Republic and abroad. In this part of the thesis is used the method of reference to Czech and foreign literary sources. The literary review is followed by practical part. Here are applied methods of analysis, field research, inquiry, interview with the castle owner and SWOT analysis. Based on partial analyzes is found out, that a bio farm would have the greatest potential in the area. Benefit of thesis therefore consists of bio farm design and thanks to that, the dilapidated territory will gain a new use, build on site history and moreover introduce new products of tourism (agrotourism), thereby it will revive the whole studied region.
