Model approaches and techniques to estimate the potential output
Abstract:
V této práci se snažím analyzovat různé modelové přístupy a techniky odhadu potenciálního produktu, resp. z něj vycházející mezery výstupu. K dispozici je zde rovněž teoretická analýza samotného konceptu potenciálního produktu a jeho vhodného definování. Součástí práce je i odhad trajektorie potenciálního produktu na reálných makroekonomických datech České Republiky.
Abstract:
In my diploma thesis I try to analyze various model approaches and techniques to estimate potential output or, from the potential output resulting, output gap. There is also a theoretical analysis of various concepts dealing with appropriate definition of the potential output. Part of this work is the estimation of potential output trajectory using real macroeconomic data of Czech Republic.
