Nature protection as a factor influencing the quality of life of residents living in large-scale protected areas (on the example of the protected landscape area Křivoklátsko)

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se snažila zjistit, zda má faktor ochrany přírody v CHKO Křivoklátsko vliv na kvalitu života obyvatel, kteří žijí v této oblasti. Práce ve své teoretické části popisuje ochranu přírody, a kvalitu života z teoretického hlediska formou literární rešerše. V praktické části práce je popsáno modelové území a dále se jedná o sběr a zpracování dat týkajících se pohledu obyvatel na fakt, že žijí v oblasti, která je součástí rozsáhlého přírodního ekosystému, který je potřeba chránit. Zjištěné výsledky jsou poté zaznamenány a zpracovány a dávají odpověď na základní otázku, zda a případně jak se obyvatelé CHKO Křivoklátsko cítí být ovlivněni faktem, že žijí na území chráněné krajinné oblasti. Práce má za cíl zjistit ze zkušenosti obyvatel CHKO Křivoklátsko, zda negativa, která s sebou přináší omezení vyplývající z podstaty CHKO, převáží pozitiva (například v podobě krásné přírody) či nikoli.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis tried to find out whether the factor of nature protection in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area has an impact on the quality of life of the inhabitants living in this area. The work in its theoretical part describes the protection of nature, and quality of life from a theoretical point of view in the form of literary research. The practical part of the work describes the model area and it is also the collection and processing of data concerning the population's view of the fact that they live in an area that is part of a large natural ecosystem that needs to be protected. The obtained results are then recorded and processed and give an answer to the basic question whether and, if so, how the inhabitants of the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area feel influenced by the fact that they live in the protected landscape area. The work aims to find out from the experience of the inhabitants of the Křivoklátsko PLA whether the negatives, which bring with them the restrictions resulting from the nature of the PLA, outweigh the positives (for example in the form of beautiful nature) or not.
