Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postavou římské bohyně Venuše ve vybraných dílech Giovanniho Boccaccia; konkrétně se jedná o jeho latinské spisy Genealogia deorum gentilium a De mulieribus claris. První z děl je spis věnovaný genealogickému uspořádání římských božstev, druhý představuje kolekci životopisů slavných žen a taktéž zahrnuje i mytologické postavy. This bachelor thesis deals with the character of the Roman goddess Venus, in the selected works of Giovanni Boccaccio; particularly in his Latin works Genealogia deorum gentilium and De mulieribus claris.
