Organizational culture and its reflection in working environment

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je organizační kultura a její odraz v pracovních podmínkách. Cílem práce je přiblížit čtenáři danou problematiku a seznámit ho se vším, co je s ní spojené. Dále pak vysvětlit důležité pojmy pro pochopení tématu zejména organizační kultura, pracovní prostředí, pracovní podmínky, motivace jako taková, motivace zaměstnanců. Metodologie práce je souhrn výsledků obsahové analýzy, komparace zdrojů a vlastního šetření, které je pojato jako kvalitativní výzkum. Přesněji se tedy jedná o hloubkově řízené rozhovory, které jsou provedeny s vybranými respondenty ze dvou příslušných organizací. Díky analýze všech nasbíraných informací dochází ke zodpovězení dvou klíčových výzkumných otázek, ze kterých vyplývá zjištění, že organizační kultura je nebo by měla být nedílnou součástí každé organizace, která chce pečovat o své zaměstnance a nabídnout jim příjemné pracovní podmínky. Díky nim se pak z organizace stává prosperující organizace. Dalším zjištěním je, že zaměstnanci velmi pociťují vliv organizační kultury na pracovní podmínky, a to jak v pozitivním, tak v negativním smyslu. Ve výsledku stejně záleží na typu povahy zaměstnance, zda je týmový hráč či naopak sólista a tím pádem má nižší nároky na organizační kulturu ve svém zaměstnání.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is organizational culture and its reflection in working conditions. The goal of the work is to bring the reader closer to the issue and familiarize him with everything related to it. Next, explain important terms for understanding the topic, especially organizational culture, work environment, working conditions, motivation as such, employee motivation. The methodology of the work is a summary of the results of content analysis, comparison of sources and own investigation, which is conceived as qualitative research. More precisely, these are in-depth interviews that are conducted with selected respondents from two relevant organizations. Thanks to the analysis of all the collected information, two key research questions are answered, which results in the finding that organizational culture is or should be an integral part of every organization that wants to take care of its employees and offer them pleasant working conditions. Thanks to them, the organization becomes a prosperous organization. Another finding is that employees strongly feel the influence of organizational culture on working conditions, both in a positive and negative sense. In the end, it all depends on the nature of the employee, whether he is a team player or, on the contrary, a soloist and thus has lower demands for organizational culture in his job.
